About WIPs

Vision and leadership describe the founders of this organization and their view of women's role in the pension industry. Professional women in the industry, nationwide, including representatives from plan sponsors, TPAs, insurance companies, consultants, money managers, attorneys and many others agree with this view and support its mission through National Women in Pensions, Inc.

Designed to address an increasing need for network opportunities for women working in and entering the pension industry, the group was initially organized in the mid-1980s. With its tremendous growth in membership, the organization became incorporated in 1998 and adopted its name, National Women in Pensions, Inc., known as "WIPs." Meeting quarterly in Atlanta, Georgia, the group fosters an informal networking environment with an emphasis on establishing and maintaining friendships, growing personal relationships and genuine camaraderie.

A valuable investment in your career, the annual dues of $50.00 are used to defray the expense the WIPs meeting aand administrative expenses.

We appreciate your interest in this dynamic group. Please consider joining the growing number of women pension professionals who benefit from the networking and friendship opportunities provided by WIPs.
